Terms & Conditions: Exclusions to certain conditions, including the money-back guarantee, may apply for some items. Following expiration of the Shield Protection Plan agreement term, if you have made no claims under the agreement and have complied with all the terms and conditions, you will receive a merchandise credit in an amount equal to the price paid (net of any applicable taxes) for the Shield Protection Plan. A claim is any request for service or replacements under the plan, but a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty is not considered a “claim” for the purpose of this provision. To receive the merchandise credit, you must call (877) 412-8503 within 14 days of expiration of the Shield Protection Plan agreement term, and the merchandise credit will be mailed to you. The merchandise credit will expire 90 days after the end of the agreement term. The merchandise credit is not transferable to a subsequent purchaser of the covered product. This feature is not applicable to renewals or any products older than 90 days. The merchandise credit must be redeemed in one transaction with the transaction value (excluding applicable taxes) being at least twice the value of the merchandise credit. The merchandise credit has no cash value, cannot be applied toward previous purchases, and cannot be applied toward the purchase of any other Protection Plan agreement or gift cards. If some or all of the merchandise purchased with the merchandise credit is returned, the merchandise credit will not be refunded. Any unredeemed merchandise credit amounts will be forfeited without notice to you.
