Dallas-based artist Carol Benson-Cobb creates elegant, fluid abstractions that complement a wide range of interiors. Largely self-taught, Benson-Cobb is a lifelong painter who was drawn to abstraction when creating artwork for her own home. With a view to how the buyer will live with the finished piece, she layers color thickly on her canvases, creating serene, open-ended compositions that subtly reference landscapes and patterned textiles.
